Secrets may break us – Love makes us whole

CANDICE, a successful cardiac surgeon and soon-to-be divorcee learns that her husband of 12 years is having an affair with her boss. Devastated, Candice accepts an out-of-state job offer. Before beginning her new position, Candice is coaxed by her son, DEVON, to visit her hometown after 10 years.

Once home, Candice is reunited with JOYCE, a gynecologist and the mother that abandoned her while attending medical school and DEE, a pediatrician and the sister Candice resents for having had the opportunity to be raised by Joyce. Joyce wants desperately to reconcile their relationship however Candice is too consumed with resentment from past hurts. To keep herself distracted, Candice reconnects with CHARLES, Dee’s ex-boyfriend from high school. Due to a failing business and a messy divorce, Charles currently occupies Joyce’s guest home. A beautiful friendship begins to blossom between Charles and Candice.

Candice is not the only one experiencing matters of the heart. Dee stumbles across HARPER, the mother of one of her clients, and realizes they may be the perfect fit, but Dee’s fear of commitment may sabotage the relationship.

Quiet As Kept explores the repercussions of a family with an extensive history of dysfunction and hurt. Despite the fact that all three women have become prominent physicians they soon realize they are not invincible. Will Dee learn that commitment does not mean control and there is freedom to be found in love? Will Candice allow herself to rediscover true love and reconnect with the family she so desperately needs? This family eventually learns that the only thing that can make them whole again is love.
